Aly Muldoon

Mom. Wife. Vegan. Fitness Enthusiast. Bikini competitor. Animal Advocate. Cancer Survivor

I am a 31-year-old mother of one. I met the love of my life Allan in 2014 and we had our baby boy, Jack, on October 31st, 2016. We have two fur babies, a 2-year-old, goofball Shepherd named Walker and a fiesty one-eyed Chihuahua named, Tiki. Animals have always been a passion of mine from the time I was a little girl. Its obvious to me why I choose the career of veterinary technician; advocating for animals and encouraging the human-animal bond is so precious to me

My quest for health started after I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer at age 22. After being cured, I started to make healthier diet choices, joined my local gym and from there got my aspirations to compete. In November of 2013 I entered my first local competition in the bikini divdison. I placed well and competed again in 2014 at a provincial level.

Since becoming pregnant with Jack, I had become more concerned and aware of my health and that of my family. Having Jack also brought a new sense of responsibility to make a positive difference in the world. Earlier the year of 2017, together, we decided to become a vegan family.

I competed again in November 2017, in same local show where I first got my heels wet back in 2013. Competing as a vegan and a new mom was proof to me that the plant based diet is something I want to inspire others to incorporate into their lives.

I want to share my passion for health and fitness, my love of food and cooking - while finding a balance between it all so I can be the best version of myself for my family.

I hope to inspire others - help people by sharing my ideas, thoughts and my story.

This blog is dedicated to Al and Jack, as well as my family and friends who have supported me with love and encouragement throughout my entire life. I also want to dedicate this to our beautiful planet and all the animals and creatures living along side us, who are deserving of respect and to live in peace, without pain or suffering - just as we are.
