The term BBQ, for me, has always meant, summer, a family gathering on the deck, the smell of spice and homemade sauces bouncing across the air, into the open windows of the neighbouring homes. If you aren't having a grill with your family at the time a scent of some else's hits your nose, you are suddenly craving it.
Becoming vegan hasn't lessend my love for everything that comes along with Q'ing. In fact, I have finally learned how to work the BBQ myself!

There are so many reasons to grill vegan food besides the most important fact; it is so nutrious!
It's also considerably cheaper! Meat is extremely expensive these days and if you are providing for a big group, things can escalate to the hundreds. Plantbased foods are filling, as much as they are affordable.

Cooking time for most vegetables is similar and quite fast. You can have your plate filled in minutes, with little time management involved.

Your raw foods can touch each other. That's right! No risk of salmonella here! Your vegetables can get all kinds of up close and personal on the grill bed. 😉
Along with risk-free cooking comes cleanliness. Clean up time is a lot faster! Less, if any packaging to throw out and all the waste goes in the compost. Vegan BBQ is environmentally and host friendly!
It's beautiful. All the colours and smells of the vegan grill are mouthwatering and eye pleasing. No one suffered for the food in your belly. Eat up, knowing you are making a positive decision for your health, the environment and the lives of the animals who suffer at the cost of the meat industry.
